CARE PROGRAMS
Infant
Infants – 3 months to 18 months:
Full and part time care is available. We have designed a nurturing and creative world for infants to help their minds and bodies develop so they can learn, play, and grow in a safe and secure environment. Our teachers work with you to make a smooth transition into our program, and have it happen with smiles on both your child’s face and your own. We are committed to creating a strong bond with your child to ensure the best start in life.
Toddler
Full and part time care is available. Programs for toddler’s focus on balance of nurturing, playtime, and learning throughout the day. The toys and equipment promote visual skills that provide a foundation for the development of later fine and gross motor skills, as well as sensory motor development. It will also help to promote cognitive and social skills.
Preschool
Preschool - 2½ to 4 years:
Full and part time care is available. Preschoolers are eager to learn. A preschooler’s world open up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with their peers. Our program introduces language, math, science, and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to encourage learning one-step at time.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten 4 to 6 years:
Full time care is available. At our centre, children are in a safe environment they know and love, which makes learning more effective and fun. Our kindergarten program is a comprehensive skill-based program, designed to prepare children for the first grade and success in school. We want your child to enjoy and appreciate the educational process. Lessons are tailored to meet your child’s individual needs and designed to give children opportunities to explore, question, communicate, and create in a fun, supportive environment. A special feature our classrooms have is the individual attention in a small class size.
School Age
School Age Program 5 to 12 years:
OTRCC offers care for school age children in a before and/or after school program, PA Days, Winter, Spring and Summer breaks! Our days are filled with supervised activities that support the interests, skills and abilities of a school age child.
Camps
OTRCC offers camps for Spring, Summer and Winter. Our exciting camps include local attractions like museums, the horse ranch, ROM, Ontario Science Centre, water parks and sport events. We plan STREAM projects and outings that are designed to stimulate and excite them in a setting that is safe, social and fun. Children will have an opportunity for an academic period either in the morning or afternoon, depending on the daily activity scheduled, consisting of math, science, history, geography and language arts. Children will also have the opportunity to master their skills in chess, checkers, monopoly and many more mind-blowing games!
